I have this pipe dream that i'll someday come up with a California Armageddon team, but i'm doubtful this will happen this year. I've been putting all of my energy into http://sflasertag.org . I have 4 lasertag picnic parties scheduled in the next 3 months. But i have no time to try to recruit an Armageddon team. I might get 3 or 4 players interested, but that is short of an 8man team. So i'll put myself down as a free agent.

First, as I'm certain you have discovered, Armageddon is not canceled. :-)

As for information, the best thing you can do is ask lots of questions here. We will answer them the best that we can.

If you are wondering how to play in this year's Armageddon then there are several ways of going about it.

If you are planning on playing as an individual (you can do this today without issue):
- Post on this thread and list any experiences that you have.
- Representatives from an established team may contact you to see if you are willing to play with them.
- If you both agree to play for each other, submit a deposit or full payment, and begin making travel arrangements.


If you are planning on playing as a small group (less than 8 players):
- Contact Dark Angel (Ricky Vega) and let him know what your intentions are, and to check for feasibility this year.
- Post on this thread that you are looking for players to fill out the rest of your team.
- Plan your team so that you have talent in several systems.
- Once you have 7-8 players on your roster, make sure that all of your players are able to pay a deposit. Do not submit a payment or deposit at this time.
- Contact Dark Angel (Ricky Vega) and let him know that you have a team established. Ricky will give you further instructions.

***IMPORTANT NOTE*** Due to high demand this year, all of the "normal" team slots have been spoken for, special arrangements will have to be made in order to accommodate an additional team.


If you are planning on playing as a whole team (8-9 players):
- Contact Dark Angel (Ricky Vega) and let him know what your intentions are, and to check for feasibility this year.
- Make sure that all of your players are able to pay a deposit. Do not submit a payment or deposit at this time.
- Contact Dark Angel (Ricky Vega) and let him know that you have a full team established. Ricky will give you further instructions.

I'm almost certain that Q-Zar will be played this year.

Since you have nearly an entire team of players, I would recommend contacting Ricky (Dark Angel) as soon as possible to see if there is enough room at the tournament for your team to be able to attend. I think I speak for everyone when I say that it would be awesome if your team would be able to make it.
